Project Breakaway: Our Tour de France ambition

UNO-X Mobility Cycling proudly presents Project Breakaway. Where top-tier innovation meets our Tour de France ambition.

“I’ve raced the Tour. I know what it takes. With Project Breakaway, our partners are delivering the kind of support that truly makes a difference.” — Thor Hushovd.

Project Breakaway isn’t just a name — it’s our strategy.

At UNO-X Mobility Cycling, bold ambitions demand bold collaboration. That’s why we’ve joined forces with a select group of world-class partners in cycling tech, apparel, and performance innovation.

Our mission is clear.
Win a stage. Be visible every single day. And fight for jerseys with everything we've got.

To deliver on that, every detail has been purpose-built — from wind tunnel-tested suits and dial covers to frames, helmets, and wheels optimised for crosswinds, sprints, and summit finishes at over 50 km/h.

Meet the Partners Behind Project Breakaway

Fusion — Denmark

The Breakaway Suit: Engineered for an almost unfair advantage.

Fusion are the driving force behind Project Breakaway. The Breakaway Suit is developed in close collaboration with Uno-X Mobility Cycling, the Breakaway Suit is Fusion’s most advanced racing apparel to date. Designed, tested, and produced in Europe — with input from the in-house Tempo! Wind Tunnel — this suit is made to perform above 45 km/h and beyond.

The aerodynamic redesign includes rear zippers, prototype sleeves, and a restructured torso for race-specific positions. At full speed, it maintains drag efficiency even beyond 60 km/h.

Paired with the new Breakaway aero sock, Fusion covers every detail — giving Uno-X Mobility Cycling the edge they need to make every move count.

Ridley — Belgium

Noah Fast: Where watts meet instinct.

Ridley believes that speed is both a science and a feeling — and the Noah Fast embodies both. Developed in Belgium and refined through WorldTour racing, this bike is engineered for all-out speed, breakaways, and lead-outs.

Together with Uno-X Mobility Cycling, Ridley has reimagined its flagship aero frame from the ground up — using CFD simulations, wind tunnel testing, and rider feedback to create a bike that saves 8.5 watts at 50 km/h compared to the previous model. That’s the feeling of a tailwind, even when there’s none.

Sweet Protection - Norway

Tucker III 2Vi® Mips Helmet: Go faster. Go Further

Sweet Protection brings elite-level helmet innovation to the World Tour — combining speed, safety, and Scandinavian craftsmanship.

The all-new Tucker III 2Vi® Mips Helmet, debuting at the 2025 Tour de France, is optimized for breakaways, solo efforts, and high-speed finishes. With extensive wind tunnel testing and CFD analysis, it's tuned for peak aerodynamic efficiency between 45–50 km/h.

DT Swiss — Switzerland

ARC 1100 DICUT: The lead is taken, not given.

DT Swiss continues to refine the science of speed. In close collaboration with Uno-X Mobility Cycling, they’ve developed the fastest wheels yet — designed to deliver a decisive edge in breakaways, sprints, and time trials.

From the 38 mm climbing wheels to the disc-equipped TT setup, every wheel in the ARC lineup is tailored for stage-winning performance. Because in the Tour de France, the lead isn’t given — it’s taken.

GripGrab — Denmark

FastStream Aero Dial Covers: Simple, yet highly effective.

GripGrab is driven by a single mission: Aero-optimised by design. With a focus on functional innovation, the Danish brand creates performance gear that helps riders go faster — and stay fast.

Co-developed with Uno-X Mobility, the FastStream Aero Dial Covers are engineered to reduce drag over shoe dials by up to 8 watts. At just 18g per pair, these minimal covers deliver maximum impact. GripGrab proves that even the smallest details can make the biggest difference.

CeramicSpeed — Denmark

OSPW RS: Friction is the enemy – efficiency wins races.

Built on a shared Scandinavian foundation and a pursuit of marginal gains, the partnership between CeramicSpeed and Uno-X Mobility Cycling is all about racing smarter.

Every Ridley bike in the Uno-X Mobility Cycling fleet is equipped with CeramicSpeed’s high-performance components. At the core of it all: world-class ceramic bearings, hand-built in Denmark for unmatched durability and efficiency.

Because when seconds matter, efficiency isn’t optional — it’s everything.

Maurten — Sweden

Hydrogel + Bicarb System: Research-backed innovation.

Maurten fuels our riders with the most scientifically advanced sports nutrition available today. Now in their fifth year of partnership, the focus remains the same: enabling explosive efforts and high-intensity racing — with no compromise on gut tolerance.

Maurten’s patented Hydrogel Technology allows riders to absorb more carbohydrates and sodium bicarbonate with minimal gastrointestinal distress. This fuels sustained power on long stages and late attacks.

When racing is at its most intense, Maurten ensures fuel delivery is never a limiting factor.

Prologo — Italy

Dimension TDF Saddle

Prologo’s Dimension TDF delivers the perfect balance of comfort and performance — trusted by Uno-X Mobility Cycling for the Tour’s toughest tests.

With a 143 mm platform for weight distribution and a central PAS channel for pressure relief, it’s built for power in every position.

FSA — Taiwan

Powerbox Team Edition: Engineered for precision, trusted by professionals

The Powerbox Team Edition crankset gives Uno-X Mobility riders accurate dual-sided power data in every pedal stroke.

With full carbon arms and seamless Bluetooth® and ANT+ integration, it’s a race-tuned tool for optimizing performance at the highest level.

Confidence and control, from training to Tour.
